Misti and Michael got married on a chilly November evening just after Sunset. It was my first evening ceremony as a photographer and now I am obsessed! Give me all the night weddings. Especially if there are loads of twinkle lights everywhere.
Because Misti and Michael were getting married after sunset they decided to have a first look to allow for portraits during the day. A groom shedding tears when he sees his bride is one of the sweetest things. Michael (sorry to call you out!) teared up several times throughout the night.
The ceremony was during the hour after sunset, known as the twilight hour. You can see how the lighting changes during the ceremony until it’s almost totally dark out.
This wedding was truly a blending of families, a case of, his, hers, and ours. I loved that they choose to have a sand ceremony to represent all the different pieces of their family coming together.
When Michael chose to read vows to Misti’s daugther, Isabella. There wasn’t a dry eye in sight.
Once it was time to kick off the reception the wedding party did not disappoint. What a fun group of friends and family to help support them during one of their biggest days.
Misti and Michael your wedding was beautiful and so much fun to photograph! Thank you for having me, I wish you both the best.
