The Central Valley is full of beautiful Wedding Venues. Picking your venue is your first step in planning your wedding and setting your vision. Here is a list of some of my favorite locations close to the Fresno area.

My favorite location of theirs is The Westside Island. A secluded location outside of Kingsburg that is nestled between a private lake and the Kings River.

Hidden Hollow is a stunning all-inclusive venue located near the Reedley Foothills. This venue boasts beautiful backdrops for your ceremony as well as an indoor hall for your reception. My favorite ceremony location is “The Hollow” with the large oak tree and string lights providing a whimsical, romantic setting for your vows. Floral design is included in their wedding packages, the family that runs Hidden Hollow used to own a floral shop in Downtown Fresno.

Wonder Valley Ranch in Sanger is perfect if you are looking for something that includes on-site rooms for your guest but still want to get married outdoors. Wonder Valley has a ton of locations for great portraits, including the dock on their little lake which is a must for sunset portraits.

If you are looking for something a little different look no further than Merryman Station in Exeter. This historic building is over 100 years old and has been updated all while keeping its historic charm.

The nearby orange groves make a perfect backdrop for stunning portraits.

Your own backyard (or family ranch) can be the perfect wedding venue. With so much beauty around us, I just love when a couple chooses a location close to their hearts and has their ceremony on their family’s property. There is something so special about sharing your nuptials at a location that you can visit time and time again.

No list would be complete without me including Yosemite National Park as a “venue” whether you are looking to get married in the Yosemite Chapel, on the Valley Floor, or at the Glacier Point Ampetitheather, you can not go wrong. The perfect location for intimate elopements or larger gatherings, you simply will not find a location close to Fresno with a better view.

In fact, I love Yosemite National Park so much I am currently planning my own 2022 Elopement in the park.
