How CUTE is Alaina and Anthony’s in-home engagement session? I was so excited when Alaina told me she wanted to do their engagement session in their home. What better place is there to celebrate your love then the home you share your life in? BONUS POINTS, she asked to include her dog, Odie. I am […]
Kristina and Randy are literally my DREAM clients. When I met them last Summer I knew I had to shoot their wedding. They are sweet as can be, quirky, adorable, they LOVE Disney (Kristina is basically a real-life Disney Princess), a bit nerdy (like me), and they were getting married in Yosemite. I could not […]
One thing I never considered when I started my photography business was the friendships I would make, especially those friendships with OTHER photographers. I mean, they are supposed to be my competition right? How can I be friends with someone who might steal my clients? Here’s the thing, there are enough clients to go around, […]
Shaver Lake has quickly become one of my favorite locations to photograph engagement sessions. This location off Dinkey Creek Rd was perfect. As I drove up to the spot the fog started rolling in, of course being a photographer I freaked out a little because fog can be so hard to photograph but Lilly was […]
Cristina and Roger booked me just 6 weeks before their wedding! A friend referred me to them after their original Photographer had an accident and was injured for their wedding day. I’m so glad I was available and able to capture their day for them. Cristina got ready at her Parent’s house while Roger was […]
Diego and Jessi got married at the beautiful Chapel on the Hill just outside of Paso Robles in Shandon. This gorgeous Chapel sits up top a hill (hence the name) looking over picture-perfect vineyards and rolling golden hills. There is a small winding road that leads up to the back of the church and a walkway that leads you through the vineyards and up the hill towards the Chapel. I think you would be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful location for a Chapel in California.
This cute little backyard barn is the perfect setting for intimate weddings and gatherings. Liz, the owner of Scott Family Ranch completely rebuilt this barn with her husband and I think they did an amazing job. It has such a rustic modern feel to it. Jared and Kyli were the models for the shoot. These […]
I got the chance to participate in my FIRST styled shoot that was put on by another group of creatives. A styled shoot is essentially a styled fake-wedding. The couples are usually real life couples who play dress up for several different photographers. Clothing, flowers, props, everything is brought in to allow different wedding vendors […]
I’ve said it before and I will say it again, the California Central Valley has so many beautiful different locations for photography sessions. This beautiful historic wooden bridge in over Dinkey Creek just outside of Shaver Lake is just one of them. The character of the wood bridge and the beautiful trees lining add so […]
