This venue’s story dates back to 1927, when Bob McKellar’s parents planted seven sycamore trees to provide shade for their farm, naming the farm Historic Seven Sycamores Ranch. Spanning many generations, the farm has been home to countless memories.

Historic Seven Sycamores Ranch is a farm wedding venue with a rich history and strong family ambiance. Like the seeds that grow at the farm, this is a place where couples can tie the knot, planting their own seeds as they commit their lives to one another.

Details of the Grounds

Situated in the beautiful countryside of Ivanhoe in California, Seven Sycamores Ranch is an intimate, tranquil farm venue. The citrus farm transformed into a wedding venue in 2007 and has welcomed countless couples since then. This perfect home-away-from-home venue hosts everything from intimate elopements to larger weddings of up to 300 guests.

The Garden is a serene location for the ceremony and reception, with unlimited options for layouts. The Vine Arbor is a versatile space that can be used for cocktail hour or to house the dance floor in the evening. The Garden features a fire pit lounge area, and the Gazebo is the perfect location to cut the wedding cake.

The Glass Barn can host indoor and outdoor ceremonies and receptions and accommodate up to 200 guests. Views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains stand as the backdrop for this space. Additionally, the barn has a built-in bar and air conditioning.

The Lounge and Hummingbird Cottage can be used as getting-ready spaces and are relaxing and comfortable places for the bridal party to prepare for the big day.

There are many terrific photo opportunities at Historic Seven Sycamores Ranch. The outdoor spaces are bright and airy, with vibrant floral arrangements, carefully manicured lawns and trees, and lots of sunlight. Indoor event spaces are warm and inviting, with wood walls, white pillars, tall ceilings, and large windows that let in natural light.

Furthermore, the beautiful landscaping of this property makes a gorgeous backdrop for portraits of the bride and groom or candid snapshots of the guests dancing the night away under the stars.

Wedding Details

The Historic Seven Sycamores Ranch team works with couples to plan their perfect wedding day. An event planner works with each couple to narrow down all the details, and couples can choose from a list of preferred vendors who have worked with the venue before. The venue takes care of setup and cleanup and provides tables, chairs, and linens. The rental also includes dazzling string lights outside.
