This romantic canoe Engagement Session at R Wedding and Events The Westside Island is something that I have been dreaming about! Being a Fresno Wedding Photographer there aren’t a lot of locations like The Westside Island in Laton for photoshoots. I knew I had to reach out to Cindy at R Wedding and Events to work with her and photograph this Engagement Session here, and I mean, come on, it’s perfect!

I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t inspired by The Little Mermaid for this shoot, but come on! (Nah, nah, nah, don’t be scared…kiss the girl, wooh wooh). I may also have been singing to myself during the shoot…

I am so glad the Pauline and Joseph were the second winners for my Engagement Experience Giveaway! These two were so much fun the entire session and just the sweetest, most in love couple. Once Pauline was all dressed and ready and Joseph saw her for the first time he nearly cried, it was so sweet and so reminiscent of a bride walking down the aisle.

These sweet lovebirds actually tied the knot the following week in an intimate ceremony for friends and close family. Pauline told me that they couldn’t wait for their 2022 date and wanted to get married in front of their grandparents now. I mean, does it get any sweeter than that?

This shoot was such a dream! Having a vision and executing it exactly as you imagined is always the most satisfying thing as an artist. I can not thank the vendors that helped out enough The Cascade Queen came in with this floral install at the last minute and just WOW it was everything I could have wanted and more.
