I’ve said it before and I will say it again, the California Central Valley has so many beautiful different locations for photography sessions. This beautiful historic wooden bridge in over Dinkey Creek just outside of Shaver Lake is just one of them. The character of the wood bridge and the beautiful trees lining add so much dimension and interest into photos.
During the colder months you can not access Dinkey Creek as it is closed during the snow season. We waited, and waited, and waited for all the snow to clear for this session. I think it was worth it, such beautiful, lush greens in the spring/early summer.
Jessi was a little shy in front of the camera, you can see it in the images. Diego was always whispering something in her ear, making it laugh and making her more comfortable, which allowed me to make this magic. I love capturing genuine reactions and showing someone’s true beauty.
After shooting the first outfit above the bridge near the camping sites we headed towards the Dinkey Creek Historical Bridge. I love the simplicity and flow of Jessi’s dress, sometimes less is more and it really allows you to shine through.
The mountains were the perfect contrast to Jessi and Diego’s Paso Robles Wedding. Thank you for allowing me to capture these memories for you.
